so one morning before i went to work i sent a text to my mom. then around lunch time when i checked my phone i had two new messages from her. i had a good kick out of it.

enjoying the simple things

so at work my boss brings his two dogs to the office on most days. during the afternoons these dogs love the heat coming from the sun. they would follow the sun and at some point they would even sleep...sitting up. i found this funny and profound. it's a reminder to myself that...enjoying the simple, little things in life...are and should be enjoyable. i hear that saying often but how many do believe, put the effort, and genuinely do enjoy the little things.

how well do you know yourself?

self critic? analysis? whatever it is. it was fun...ish.

'oh hello ladies'...photo dump...haha

'laid back, laid-off walk day'

this one's not so funny. it made me feel better though.

also this was my first attempt at colors in my recent binge of comic strip sketching. and i liked it...i liked it a lot.

some of my observations at the farmer's market

this one didn't really, completely happen. mostly it was in my mind. the things that were true were; i was full from eating goodies from the farmer's market and that i was sitting the way i was in the drawing. there were kids all around and a couple stopped to look at me before moving on. this conversation was something that i was thinking of, wondering if one of those kiddies asked me, what would i answer. this one was the non-rated r one. ha.

this one was all too real. the kid wasn't alone though. he did have his parents but i didn't feel like they were funny enough to make it in the strip. harsh. they'll get over it.
